AZBio

AZBio is comprised of member organizations in business, research, government, and other professions involved in biosciences.  As the unified voice of the bioscience industry in Arizona, AZBio strives to make Arizona a place where bioscience organizations can grow and succeed.  We accomplish this by creating a forum for the bioscience community to join together, educating policy makers and the public, influencing public policy, and advancing the economic interests of individual organizations as well as the sector as a whole.


AZBio Objectives

Advance the common goals and concerns of our members.
Provide an infrastructure for joint activities that serve the needs of the bioscience industry through programs, events, advocacy and services.
Create a favorable business climate in which the regulatory, legislative and public sectors recognize and support the social and economic benefits of the biosciences in Arizona.
Provide educational and informational activities to aid local, state and federal officials and the general public in making informed decisions about issues concerning the biosciences.
Promote science education at all levels and workforce development.
Persuade investors that Arizona bioscience companies are a good investment.
Create collaborations between Arizona's large institutions and the bioscience industry.
