The Flinn Foundation has surpassed $1 million in funding support to benefit Arizona bioscience startup companies with the selection of six firms to participate in the foundation’s 2019 Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program.

A two-week immersion April 22 – May 3, 2019 in Scottsdale, Arizona, the MedTech Accelerator provides medical device and healthcare IT early stage companies with personalized business development plans to collaborate with Mayo Clinic and ASU and accelerate go to market and investment opportunities. 

Flinn Scholars Program Info Sessions

The Flinn Scholars Program will host five information sessions this spring across Arizona to share the benefits of one of the nation’s most prestigious merit-based scholarships and present strategies to assist in building the strongest application. 

  • Tucson  – Tuesday, March 12
  • Tempe – Sunday, April 7 
  • Flagstaff – Wednesday, April 17
  • Glendale – Thursday, April 25

Applications are open for the 2019 Banner-ASU Neuroscience Scholars program

Banner-ASU Neuroscience Scholars is a paid, eight-week training program open to top-achieving college undergraduate and graduate science students. Scholars work full-time on a research project under the mentorship of a Banner Research or ASU-Biodesign scientist to unlock medical and scientific mysteries in the areas of Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and other neurodegenerative diseases, in a lab setting in the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area. Deadline: March 1, 2019
