The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) has recently launched Arizona’s State Trade and Export Promotion (STEP) initiative funded by the US Small Business Administration and ACA.
This is a state-wide initiative focused on assisting small and medium-sized Arizona companies (those under 500 employees) to become first-time exporters. Under the program, the ACA is also assisting companies who already are exporting to enter new additional export markets. Qualifying Arizona companies are receiving technical assistance as well as financial assistance along a continuum of export activities, including practical export training workshops, trade missions, trade shows, Gold Key and International Partner Search services through the U.S. Department of Commerce, marketing/business development, market identification and selection, and translation, among others.
