Leaders from the Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO) and members of the Council of State Biotech Associations (CSBA) came together in Phoenix from December 3-5, 2024 to share ideas and benchmark best practices as we prepare for the year ahead at the CSBA Annual Summit.
The Council of State Bioscience Associations (CSBA) is a confederation of state-based, non-profit trade organizations each governed by its own board of directors. The common mission of the members of the CSBA is to promote public understanding and to advocate for public policies that support the responsible development of the bioscience industry. As a member of CSBA, AZBio was pleased to host leaders from across the country and to showcase the exciting work being done in Arizona’s life science community.
During Day One of the gathering, CSBA and BIO team members had the opportunity to hit the links at the iconic Arizona Bilmore Resort or take advantage of Arizona’s balmy breezes and sunny skies as they toured the Desert Botanical Garden before heading back to the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown for an information session and reception hosted by the BIO Business Solutions team.
Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego kicked off Day Two, welcoming leaders to Phoenix and sharing her insights on how Phoenix has become one the fastest growing bio economies in the United States.
