The release of the Netflix documentary will take place on April 11th at 7:30pm at FilmBar in downtown Phoenix.
Following the life of neuropsychologist and dementia specialist, Dr. John DenBoer, the documentary
takes you on his journey to find a way to stop dementia.
Did you know that every 3 seconds, someone develops dementia?
There is currently no cure and the number of those with dementia is expected to double in the coming years. Dr. DenBoer takes you along on his mission to mitigate the onset of dementia with cognitive therapy.
You have the chance to see the documentary first at FilmBar during the official premiere of This is
Dementia. FilmBar is a small theater serving beer and wine in the heart of downtown Phoenix.

“This is Dementia” is a documentary that chronicles the story of Dr. John DenBoer and his grandmother, Jean Seeling, who suffered from dementia later in her life. This story addresses the many facets of dementia, including the global pandemic nature of the disease.
Complimentary food, (2) drink tickets per person, and valet will be provided.
Donations benefit the Jean Seeling Dementia Prevention Foundation
With a donation of $500 or more per person, said ticket holder will receive two extra drink tickets, reserved front row seating, and a free ticket to Dr. DenBoer’s book release event this fall.
