Applications are now being accepted for the 2017 Flinn Foundation Bioscience Entrepreneurship Program for early-stage bioscience firms. The deadline to apply is November 6, 2016.
Through a partnership with nonprofit, public university, community college, and governmental organizations, this competitive program provides $30,000 in funding and a set of program services to help up to six early-stage bioscience firms develop into thriving businesses.
To be eligible to apply, an early-stage firm must be a bioscience firm engaged in the commercialization of bioscience research and biotechnology and/or the sale of products in the areas of:
- Medical devices and equipment
- Drugs, pharmaceuticals, and diagnostics
- Agricultural feedstock and chemicals
- Research, testing, and medical labs
- Bioscience-related distribution
