Acquisition Extends VWR’s Single-Use Capabilities
RADNOR, Pa., July 5, 2016 /PRNewswire/ — VWR (NASDAQ: VWR), the leading global independent provider of product and service solutions to laboratory and production customers, announced today that it has acquired PAW BioScience Products, Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of sanitary fluid handling products used in the biotechnology, biopharmaceutical and diagnostic industries. PAW’s primary business operations focuses on single-use connectors and components, custom design and assembly and product distribution supporting the cell culture and purification processes.
